  • Island Women’s Health is a cash-pay practice. This model allows me to provide more personalized, thoughtful care without the limitations often imposed by insurance-based systems.

By working directly with patients, I’m able to spend more time with you, tailor care to your individual needs, and maintain a more direct and responsive relationship. You’ll communicate directly with me—without layers of staff or administrative barriers.

I believe in full transparency. You will know the cost of your visit ahead of time, with no surprise bills, copays, or insurance denials.

If you have out-of-network benefits, I’m happy to provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. Many patients are also able to use HSA or FSA funds for visits and services.

If you have Medicare, I am not contracted with Medicare, and visits will remain self-pay.

  • I believe high-quality women’s health care should be accessible. I offer a limited number of reduced-rate visits for patients who may not be able to afford the standard fee.

If cost is a barrier, please reach out or note this when booking—no explanation needed. I’m happy to work with you.

  • We accept cash, checks, and all major credit and debit cards, including HSA and FSA cards.

A valid card is required at the time of booking to hold your appointment, but it will not be charged until after your visit. If you prefer to pay with cash or check, payment is due at the time of your appointment. The card on file will only be used in accordance with our cancellation and no-show policy.

  • I currently offer care for women navigating perimenopause and menopause, including evaluation and treatment of hormone-related symptoms with both hormonal and non-hormonal options.

I also provide aesthetic treatments using Jeuveau (Botox) for the upper face, including the forehead, frown lines, and crow’s feet.

I plan to thoughtfully expand services over time. Please visit the Services page for more details.

  • If labs or medications are needed as part of your care, I will order them for you just like in a traditional clinic setting. Lab work can be completed through Labcorp (for example, their Poulsbo location), and prescriptions will be sent electronically to the pharmacy of your choice.

While my visits are self-pay, labs and medications are typically billed through your insurance. I recommend checking with your insurance provider if you have specific coverage questions.

  • Island Women’s Health was created to offer a different kind of healthcare experience—one that is more personal, more thoughtful, and truly centered around you.

Imagine sitting down for an hour, perhaps with a cup of tea, and having the space to share the full picture of what you’ve been experiencing.

In many traditional settings, visits can feel rushed and constrained by time and insurance requirements. Here, I’m able to take the time to listen carefully, understand your story, and thoughtfully evaluate what’s going on—especially when it comes to hormone-related symptoms that are often overlooked or minimized.

You’ll work directly with me at every step, building a relationship that allows for continuity, deeper understanding, and more individualized care. My approach integrates evidence-based medicine with attention to the broader factors that influence how you feel—including sleep, stress, nutrition, and mental health.

This practice is also rooted in the idea of true community-based, small-town medicine—where your care is personal, relationships matter, and you’re known beyond just a chart or a visit.

My goal is not just to treat symptoms, but to help you feel more like yourself again.

  • It’s important to me that you feel confident and comfortable before scheduling a visit. If you’re unsure whether Island Women’s Health is the right fit, you’re welcome to reach out through the contact form with a brief description of what you’re experiencing. I’m happy to let you know if it sounds like something I can help with.

In general, I’m a good fit for women who are looking for more personalized, in-depth care—especially around perimenopause, menopause, and hormone-related concerns—and who value having the time and space to fully discuss what’s going on.

If it feels like we might be a good match, I’d love to work together.

  • Island Women’s Health is currently offering appointments on Sundays. This limited schedule allows me to begin seeing patients on the Island while I continue working in my current role. I plan to expand availability to weekday appointments in Fall 2026 and look forward to offering more flexibility in the near future.
